For individuals with insurance carriers we do not participate with, we will provide the necessary documentation required by your insurance carrier for you to submit a claim. Please contact your health insurance prior to your appointment. Many health insurances require pre-authorization for mental health services. Failure to contact your health insurance company in advance may significantly reduce your benefits.
Payment is due at the time that services are rendered. We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and personal check*. Checks should be made payable to “RSMH”. You may also take advantage of our monthly automatic payment options.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, call our office 48 hours before your appointment to speak to staff, leave a voicemail outside of business hours, or sent a message via the portal.
We will charge $150 for late cancellations or missed appointments.
Repeated no-shows and unpaid balances will result in an automatic discharge from the practice.
In the event of inclement weather, assume your appointment remains scheduled or may be conducted via telepsychiatry services. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call the office. We will notify you directly if there is an office closure or change in your scheduled appointment. Update contact information when it changes.
Refills are completed during the appointment which will last until your scheduled follow-up.If you do need refills in between the scheduled appointment, contact the office during business hours seven (7) days PRIOR to needing your refill. If no refills remain or if the prescription is a controlled substance, contact the office during business hours.
Controlled substances are filled during each appointment, and you are required to be seen for these refills.
Outside of normal business hours, please contact the office at 877-588-0282. Leave a voicemail, or send a message via the portal. Indicate your medication(s) name, dosage, how it is prescribed, and your pharmacy's full address and phone number. For 90 days prescriptions, we require a face-to-face appointment.
Controlled substances may require a signed Controlled Substance Agreement. Office policy requires you to be seen in person before this type of medication is prescribed. Refills require monthly follow-up. No refills will be provided without proper follow up as noted in the treatment plan.
NOTE: There will be NO refills for substances reported as lost, stolen, or damaged. This is non-negotiable.
